Responsibilities

Execute and continuously refine the procurement strategy as defined by the Project Management Team (PMT), tailoring to specific package needs.

Support package procurement engineers in engaging directly or via expediting agencies with key suppliers and EPC contractors to ensure timely delivery of vendor packages.

Monitor and analyze procurement trends across all packages to identify performance patterns and areas for improvement.

Provide regular reports highlighting successes and challenges within the procurement process.

Provide extensive knowledge and technical expertise in the use of SAP, FI, CO, MM, PM modules and related work order management.

Evaluate vendor performance throughout the project execution phase and provide insights into market conditions.

Assist in tendering activities, ensuring alignment with procurement strategy and project timelines.

Oversee and assess contractors’ reports, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.

Support implementation of internal HSSE rules, develop and maintain internal MP procedures, and prepare project organisational documents and presentations.

Participate in internal audits, prepare KPI dashboards, manage tender documentation, and support project communication.

Maintain confidentiality of data and information.

Gather lessons learned and provide feedback to MP.

Support MP training matrix preparation and manage training needs.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or master’s, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in upstream oil and gas.

Experience in a similar position within a large oil and gas organization (minimum 5 years).

Familiarity with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Knowledge of Project Management Standards and ISO 9001.
