الوصف الوظيفيJob Title : Senior Instrumentation Engineer Location : Qatar Experience : 8+ years Job Description : One of our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join their team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with significant site exposure in a leading company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities : 1. Design and Development : Develop and review instrumentation design specifications, including control systems, measurement devices, and safety systems. Prepare and review instrumentation and control system documentation, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and wiring diagrams. 2. Installation and Commissioning : Oversee the installation and commissioning of instrumentation systems on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. 3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues during operation. Develop and implement maintenance strategies for instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. 4. Project Management : Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project execution. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding instrumentation-related activities. 5. Quality Assurance : Ensure that all instrumentation work complies with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct quality control checks and audits on instrumentation installations and maintenance activities. Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians in instrumentation practices and procedures. Foster a collaborative work environment and promote best practices within the instrumentation team. 7. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to instrumentation design, installation, and maintenance activities. Generate reports on instrumentation performance, issues, and resolutions for management review. 8. Safety and Compliance : Promote a culture of safety within the team and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments related to instrumentation systems. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with significant site exposure. Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems, and industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC). Proficiency in using instrumentation design software and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors is preferred.
