Responsibilities Your Commitment This position requires an energetic individual who will provide administrative office and technical support to the General Counsel as well as to the overall business unit to facilitate daytoday operations of the directorate The candidate should have significant experience working in a similar or related field and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of a Paralegal The successful candidate will be responsible to contribute and assist the General Counsel in drafting and proofreading contracts agreements MoUs policies procedures and templates and identify potential conflicting statements or areas of further investigation and ensure accuracy and quality of documents are maintained in accordance with UDST legal protocol The candidate will also prepare documents including correspondence reports drafts memos and emails as required by the department or General Counsel as well as translate legal documents from English to Arabic or vice versa as required The candidate will develop and manage a database of policies procedures contracts agreements templates letters and cases and ensure that they are accurately logged and tracked in line with UDST database management protocol and undertake legal research review laws jurisprudence practices and legal scholarship as required by the department or General Counsel The candidate will also provide secretarial and administrative support to the General Counsel and employees of the department This includes managing inbound and outbound calls by answering and screening calls accordingly managing office supplies inventories and checking stock scheduling and coordinating meetings for the General Counsel and prepare and circulating minutes as requested by the General Counsel The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing billing requests reports emails and memos and will support the department in collecting and analyzing data and performing general clerical duties such as photocopying faxing and mailing as requested by the General Counsel
