Job Purpose
- Develop and facilitate the process of upstream integrated activity planning and short and long-term feed‑gas volume planning, adding value to the assets in the context of extracting and optimizing asset and well production. Achieve and maintain alignment of the well work and production facilities activities with the gas production performance from QatarEnergy LNG reservoir to the LNG plants.
Key Job Accountabilities – I
Develop and maintain integrated activity plan and long‑term feed‑gas volume plan to optimize production efficiency and ensure alignment with business objectives. Facilitate all UGP stakeholders to compile activity planning effectively and report the final production and activity plans to the proper UGP distribution lists.Develop and advise jointly with Commercial Planning and Asset Operations, the Annual Delivery Plan / Work Program & Budget (WP&B) and the overall production performance of feed‑gas, field condensate, LNG, and by‑products to align with operational targets and business objectives. Achieve uninterrupted feed‑gas delivery from wells to LNG trains as per nomination in a safe and reliable manner, mitigating the shortfalls in short‑term basis.Facilitate the execution of the production and activity plans, including analysing performance (actual vs. plan) and determining the categories causing deviation and impact on the plans to timely advise on improvements / corrective actions on deviations for optimal production delivery.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including coordinating meetings to establish and mitigate production performance problems, facilitating data‑driven decisions and while ensuring alignment and accountability between parties. Coordinate with all sections and departments on issues related to production planning.Recognize and appraise opportunities to align planned shutdowns with project activities to minimize impact of production deferments. Recommend best options in case of changes, facilitating alignment for timely decisions.Key Job Accountabilities – II
Establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of upstream / downstream operational status and performance, applying integrated data analysis, to identify and capitalize on opportunities that maximize lifecycle production value.Develop data‑driven production models including implementing digital initiatives to forecast long‑term performance. Provide technical expertise including advising senior management on production strategy and evaluating new technologies.Facilitate and liaise a multidisciplinary taskforce comprising of Subsurface, Engineering & Projects, Major Projects and Offshore / Onshore assets, including being the technical contact point, to focus and safeguard volumes across various assets, and implementing protective strategies, guidelines, measures and aligning its priorities for annual and monthly planning decisions as mandated by management.Ensure current and all future assets operating boundaries are comprehensively evaluated and incorporated into production forecasting models.Serve as the UGP focal point in production and activity planning, capacity forecasting, management, monitoring and reporting on a day‑to‑day basis with the aim of ensuring operational targets are met.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.Knowledge and / or Experience – I
10 years of working experience in oil and gas industry, including production planning, production engineering, petroleum engineering and operations, of which 1 year is in production planning.Experience with production and activities planning, including knowledge of petroleum engineering, offshore production, interface with green and brownfield projects, understanding of field development planning and execution, drilling & completion and process engineering, reservoir management, well modelling, stimulation and testing, computer programming and flow assurance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
