The IT Officer will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining system performance, and supporting users with onboarding and offboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve operational and technical problems in a timely manner
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, drivers, and peripherals
Perform regular system checks, updates, and basic maintenance activities
Support user onboarding and offboarding, including system access, email setup, and device configuration
Maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and support activities
Coordinate with vendors or service providers when required for IT-related services
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
Requirements & Skills
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
4–5 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications
Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
