Mechanical Helper

Job Description

Assist mechanical technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.

Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites as required.

Support in assembling, disassembling, and cleaning machinery and mechanical parts.

Help in lifting, holding, and positioning materials or parts during work.

Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean and safe.

Follow safety instructions and wear the required PPE at all times.

Operate basic tools and assist in tool maintenance and organization.

Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Complete tasks assigned by the technician or supervisor in a timely manner

Requirements

Education :

Basic education (High school preferred).

Technical training in mechanical trades (optional but beneficial).

Experience :

0–2 years of experience in mechanical or industrial work environments.

Experience in oil & gas, construction, or workshop settings is a plus.

Skills & Competencies :

Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items and work in challenging environments.

Willingness to learn and support the team as needed.
