Chief Technologist - Breast Imaging

Accountable for operational management of radiology and nuclear medicine services in accordance with agreed policies and span of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of defined corporate policies and procedures.
• Implementation and monitoring of agreed annual goals and objectives for the Department, aligned with corporation wide radiology program goals and strategies.
• Management and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Management of technical and administrative staff at site, including performance management.
• Active participant in the establishment and development of corporate Radiology programs and policies, and their implementation at the site(s).
• Actively participates as a team member and contributes to corporate radiology initiatives, working groups, and related activities.
• Responsible for ensuring the development, review, implementation, monitoring, and completion of formal annual quality improvement.
