Job Description

Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment.

Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.

Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way.

To inspect, clean, maintain and repair all MEP system available at the premises.

To maintain all lighting throughout hotel.

To maintain all HVAC units.

Troubleshoot and repair all equipment that is non-operational.

Do all work orders pertain to the hotel.

Answer all calls and perform repairs; if unable to repair, notify the duty engineer of the problem.

To maintain the reading of utility meters and report deviations.

Daily walk around on all plant rooms, workshop and report deviations.

Take daily engineering operation checklists to ensure equipment is working in good condition.

Provide proper handover to the next shift with pending issues and major updates.

Acknowledge complaints within the given time frame; complete the job, or escalate with detailed remarks if pending.

Follow pending complaints during your shift and complete the work in coordination with Engineering Shift Leader.

Perform preventive maintenance (PPM) for all equipment as instructed by the Engineering Shift Leader on a monthly basis and update the PPM Job sheet for validation by Chief Engineer.

Operate BMS System as required and notify the Engineering Shift Leader of any changes during your shift (e.g., override valves / fans).

Maintain cleanliness of workshop, working place and plant rooms before / during / after work.

Qualifications

Highly responsible and reliable.

Previous experience with painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related experience is an asset.

Previous experience with pool and spa is an asset.

Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.

Enthusiastic and dependable.

Active listening.

A self-starter, take initiative, can make decisions in fast-paced, changing environment.

Constant standing and walking throughout shift.

Proficient in the English language (verbal & written); second language is an asset.
