Job Overview :

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in the shipyard and industrial facilities. The role includes troubleshooting. Electrical systems, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring that all electrical operations comply with safety and quality standards. The candidate must have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and a strong understanding of control circuits, motors, and panels.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, control panels, and machinery.
• Inspect electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to identify issues or potential hazards.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform effective repair and maintenance work.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety codes and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians for smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Follow company safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support project teams in testing, commissioning, and installation activities as required.
