Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Assistant. As the Purchase Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in purchasing and inventory management. The scope of work will be to control Purchasing Documents / File & Organize documents / Daily Scanning documents / daily filling up LPO list & check the payments / Daily official submission of LPO’s to suppliers / Coordinate with accounting and update Cheques lists. Responsibilities
Copy, Scan & Store Documents Check for accuracy & and edit files Create templates for future use File documents in Physical & digital records Manage the flow of documentation within the organization Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information & terms of agreement Update internal databases with details Track orders and ensure timely delivery Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) Conduct market research to identify pricing trends Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices Prepare cost analyses Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition Requirements
Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role Good understanding of supply chain procedures Hands-on experience with any purchasing software (e.g. Procurify or SpendMap) Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Knowledge of market research Solid organizational skills Bachelors in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field Benefits
