Overview : We are seeking a highly organized and professional Household Assistant to oversee the daily operations of a private household in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring experience as a personal secretary or executive assistant, combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage staff, budgets, and household maintenance / logistics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can take initiative, ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the household, and act as the point of contact between household staff and the direct line manager.
Key Responsibilities :
Household Operations Management :
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate household staff, including maids, drivers, and other support staff.
- Oversee household maintenance, repairs, and service providers, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
- Manage household inventories, supplies, and procurement.
Financial & Administrative Management :
Prepare and oversee household budgets, track expenses, and provide financial reports to the direct line manager.Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.Ensure compliance with household policies and maintain a high standard of efficiency.Leadership & Coordination :
Act as the key liaison between the household staff and the employer.Ensure all household operations run smoothly and discreetly.Organize events, appointments, and travel logistics as required.Skills
Proven experience as a personal secretary or executive assistant, preferably in international companies or private households.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.Financial literacy with experience in budgeting and reporting.Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).Valid driving license and access to own vehicle (mandatory).High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
