Key Responsibilities Conduct medical examinations diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Educate patients on health management and disease prevention Refer patients to specialists when necessary Follow up on treatment progress and adjust care plans accordingly Ensure compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations and standards Qualifications Medical degree MBBS MB ChB or equivalent from a recognized institution minimum of 5 years Essential Valid medical license and registration with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners QCHP Postgraduate training or specialization in Family Medicine or General Practice preferred Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in primary care Excellent communication and patient management skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
