We are looking for a Lead of Procurement to oversee and manage all procurement activities for a CO2 Sequestration Project . This role is crucial in ensuring procurement and materials management programs meet project needs, comply with policies, and support timely and cost-effective execution.
Responsibilities :
- Manage procurement activities, including preparation of ITT packages, tender evaluations, and administration of agreements.
- Develop and implement robust procurement plans and procedures aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Oversee contractor procurement activities, ensuring compliance with approved processes and contract requirements.
- Coordinate procurement schedules to align with the project’s construction timelines and delivery milestones.
- Facilitate spare parts management, ensuring materials and equipment are delivered on time and to specification.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to address procurement issues and ensure smooth execution.
- Support subcontract administration and ensure ethical business practices in all procurement activities.
Requirements :
Diploma in Procurement or equivalent certifications.Relevant training or certifications in procurement best practices.10+ years of experience in procurement and contracts management, particularly in the oil and gas sector.Strong understanding of procurement markets, key vendors, and best practices.Expertise in procurement planning, contractor management, and supplier evaluation.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic project environment.This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering a cutting-edge energy project.
