Job Description

As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead and deliver group fitness classes, provide personalized training sessions, and maintain a safe, engaging exercise environment. Responsibilities include :

Developing and conducting wellness programs—fitness classes, workshops, and one‑on‑one coaching.

Leading and motivating individuals or groups in exercise activities including cardiovascular, strength, stretching, yoga, functional training, and Zumba.

Offering nutrition, lifestyle, and stress‑management advice to enhance overall well‑being.

Scheduling and coordinating wellness services, identifying resource needs.

Identifying guest needs and recommending suitable programs.

Preparing periodic reports and maintaining accurate records.

Ensuring all fitness areas and equipment are clean, safe, and properly maintained.

Keeping updated on the latest fitness and wellness trends.

Ordering supplies and materials as required.

Responding to complaints and requests for information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field preferred.

Certification in group fitness instruction or personal training from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, AFAA).

Current CPR / AED certification.

Prior experience in sports coaching, fitness instruction, or a similar role in hospitality or entertainment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Creative approach to planning and leading activities.
