Network Architect Lead

Black& Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Network Architect Lead who will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure to support major international sports events and ongoing operational requirements. This role will lead the strategy, architecture, and technical direction for the network environment, ensuring performance, availability, and future-readiness across complex venue and enterprise deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Strategy & Architecture

Lead the architectural design of enterprise-scale network solutions across LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi , and data center environments.

Define and maintain High‑Level Designs (HLD), Low‑Level Designs (LLD), and related architectural documentation.

Evaluate and implement new networking technologies such as SD‑WAN, cloud networking, and performance optimization tools.

Ensure network deployments follow industry standards, best practices, compliance requirements, and performance objectives.

Lead and mentor a team of network architects, engineers, and technicians.

Establish best practices, governance guidelines, and documentation standards across the network team.

Manage network infrastructure budgets to ensure efficient cost utilization.

Negotiate with vendors, manage procurement processes, and evaluate vendor performance.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in IT networking roles, including a minimum of 6+ years in a network architecture or senior leadership position.

CCIE or CCNP, OR cloud / SD‑WAN related certifications.

Strong expertise in network architecture design across LAN / WAN / Wi‑Fi and data center environments.
