Assignments will primarily be based out of Qatar, KSA and other GCC Countries. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth. What You’ll Do : As part of AcuTech’s Qatar team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects. What’s Required : Senior Consultants : 10-15+ years’ experience required; ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills. Consultants : 5-10+ years’ experience; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development. All Roles : BE / BTech / BS / ME / MTech / MS in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety). Relevant experience in process safety management, process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and / or consulting environment. Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations. Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, client service and commitment to client satisfaction. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects. What’s Preferred : Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs. Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures. Experience developing and evaluating / auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence. Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as : Process hazard analyses (PHA), and risk assessments, or related studies, such as Design Review, HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, ENVID, SIMOPS, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Bowtie Analysis, ALARP Demonstration. Safety Instrumented Systems services such as : Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standards. Experience with Quantitative Risk Assessment Studies such as : QRA, and Occupied Building Risk Assessment. Toxic Gas Risk Assessment. Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment. EERA, ESSA. 3-D F&G Mapping. Safety Critical Equipment Identification and Performance Standards Development. Proficiency in Qatar Energy MAHM Framework, Saudi ARAMCO Standards is an advantage.
