Job Overview :

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment within the shipyard and industrial facilities. The role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical fittings, alignment, and equipment installation. The candidate must ensure all mechanical works are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and project specifications.

Job Role & Responsibilities :

• Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Carry out alignment, balancing, and adjustment of mechanical parts and machinery.
• Dismantle and reassemble mechanical components for repair and maintenance purposes.
• Inspect machinery, piping, and equipment to identify defects or wear and tear.
• Work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other team members to complete mechanical installations.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company HSE standards.
• Report faults, damages, or irregularities to supervisors and assist in troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
