Position Title : Quality Lead - Manufacturing (NFPS)
Working Schedule : 10 hrs / day, 6 days / week, 26 days / month
Work Location : Qatar, Onshore
Contract Term : 36 months
Reports to : Head of Quality (Assurance)
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of products and processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle by developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct inspections and tests during various stages of manufacturing to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to address quality issues and communicate quality standards.
- Ensure manufacturing processes and products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through best practices and lean principles.
- Lead or participate in Quality Management System audits to ensure compliance with company requirements and applicable international codes and standards.
- Evaluate and manage the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers.
- Participate in validating new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure they consistently meet quality requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering.8 years of experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory role or oversight of service / vendor personnel.Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies; experience in large-scale operating organizations (Operations, Projects, etc.).Knowledge of quality systems, specifications, tools, and relevant industry standards.Experience creating and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to meet established standards.Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry regulations, and performance improvement methodologies.Ability to document quality plans, Inspection and Tests Plans (ITPs), and other relevant documents clearly.Knowledge of various testing and inspection methods (destructive and non-destructive) and interpretation of results.Additional Information
