The role holder is responsible for supporting the service sales operations including estimations, preparing maintenance contracts, and negotiating contract renewals. The role holder maintains the contracts database in the MIS system to ensure effective tracking of the sales pipeline. The role holder shall carry out duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.
  • Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries.
  • Develop build‑on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids, and tenders.
  • Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets ensuring profitability.
  • Use Otis sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals ensuring payment on time.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
  • Provide management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for adhoc management requests.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Prepare estimates and issue quotations for additional repairs, upgrading of units, and modernization.
  • Liaise with clients to hunt new client, negotiate maintenance contract for non‑Otis recoveries and modernization ensuring all potential client risks are addressed under the renewal terms.
  • Execute sales strategies to recover lost units, modernization and actively pursue clients to ensure unit recovery on favorable terms for Otis.
  • Coordinate with the Aftermarket and Service Department to ensure that the terms and conditions of all maintenance / repair / modernization agreements are implemented.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Business or technical degree, or completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, with a minimum of 5 years work experience.
  • Experience in the sale of technical products requiring customer consultation.
  • Strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Target focused with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex corporate organization.
  • Fluent written and spoken English & Arabic essential.
