الوصف الوظيفيSchedule employees for job related periodic medical examinations within the regulatory time limits. Conduct job related periodic medical examinations as per the Medical Surveillance Standard Timely reporting of abnormal medical finding to senior nurse or Head of Health to ensure review and follow-up. Simple case management and return to work evaluations following employee sick leave to ensure fitness for duty. Injury management of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses to ensure fitness for duty. Provision of health counselling, health education to individual employees to promote health and wellbeing. Provision of training programs to employees such as Blood borne pathogen awareness. Assisting Senior Nurse and HHS making health information leaflets, board displays, TV presentations to promote employee health and wellbeing. Accurate documentation of care and medical advice provided to employees in medical records system. Maintain medical confidentiality when reporting sick leave to Supervisors, Managers and Human Capital. Day to day additions and deletions of employees and dependants as required by staff movements. Advise employees regarding the benefits and limits of PMI scheme to encourage proper usage. Assist employees with reimbursement claims to ensure accurate and timely submission to PMI provider. Stock management of medical disposables and pharmaceuticals through stock check and re-ordering. Daily / weekly / monthly checking and calibration of clinic equipment as required by manufacturer instructions. 24 hr On-Call duty, approximately 1 week in 4 (may vary due to vacations). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Section to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high quality products / services. Deliver high quality service to uphold employee health and safety. Record daily patient management activities in clinic log. Use clinic log to input data to monthly report provided to Chief Quality Officer for review of department activities. Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards. Contribute to the development of Qatari Nationals (applicable to expatriate employee). Required (Qualification 1 / Discipline) : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Preferred (Qualification 1 / Discipline) : Post Graduate certificate in Occupational and / or Environmental Nursing. Required : Current Nursing License from Home Country Preferred : Current Nursing License from Qatar Required Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry) : Total of 3 to 5 years of experience in a hospital / clinic or similar medical facility field. Preferred (Years2 / Job Level3 / Industry) : Experience in Oil and Gas Industry as plant / industrial nurse or medic. Required (Language / Level4) : English - Proficient. Preferred (Language / Level4) : Arabic - Working knowledge. (1) Qualifications : High School, Higher National Diploma, 3 year Diploma, Bachelor, Masters (2) Years : Up to 3 years, 3-5 years, 5-7 years, 7-10 years, 10+ years, and 15+ years (3) Job Level : Staff, Analyst, Specialist, Supervisor, Mid-Management, Senior Management, Executive (4) Language Level : Basic, Working Knowledge, Proficient All Employees Suppliers / Vendors / Contractors External medical centres, hospitals, and healthcare institutions Ministry of Public Health Training and other service providers.
JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
The occupational health nurse delivers health services to company employees in the form of medical examinations and health management. This position is focused on health promotion, illness and injury prevention, and the protection of individuals from occupational and environmental hazards in the workplace.

- Remain alert to attend to any case of employee health emergency within Q-Chem premises in order to ensure that emergencies are addressed promptly and adequately.
