Wood are actively seeking Expressions of Interest for Principal Piping Engineer role to support future growth in our expanding business.

The projects team focusing on delivering across FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, Greenfield scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

This is a long-term assignment based in Qatar.

Experience :

• BSc., University in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related piping mechanical Design and Engineering
• Performs as a professional mechanical engineer for projects and plant modifications from Front End
• Technical support for operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Testing, installation, commissioning and start up of mechanical equipment
• Design, selection and specification of mechanical equipment
• Minimum 5 years experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas Project Delivery as a Umbrella Contract senior mechanical engineer function in a multidiscipline Workforce
• Experience in the Middle East, knowledge of GTL and LNG are an advantage, as is front-end and commissioning experience and execution.
