Are you a skilled Machine Operator with experience in steel fabrication ? Join a leading shipyard and industrial team in Qatar , operating heavy-duty machines to manufacture high-quality steel components for marine, offshore, and industrial projects !

Our client, a reputable shipyard company is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team in Qatar for a two-year contract.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or related field .
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating steel fabrication machinery in shipyard, construction, or industrial settings.
  • Strong understanding of metal cutting, bending, shaping, and finishing processes .
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operate steel fabrication machinery such as press brakes, shears, rolling machines, and cutting tools.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
  • Set up machines, adjust settings, and monitor operations for precision cutting and shaping.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure components meet required specifications.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
  • Work closely with welders, fabricators, and engineers to meet production targets.
  • Follow ISO, HSE, and company safety protocols to maintain a secure workspace.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or issues.
