Apt Resources is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Senior Expert (Renewable Assets) under the Power Sector to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in renewable energy who is committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
The Technology Senior Expert will be responsible for optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and leading strategic projects that drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation. This position plays a key role in supporting the organization’s transition to clean energy and ensuring alignment with long-term environmental and operational goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations for the integration and optimization of renewable energy technologies.
- Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the company’s goals to enhance renewable assets.
- Work closely with project teams to define technical requirements and support project execution for various renewable energy initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to the design and engineering of renewable energy projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to drive innovation and best practices through the lifecycle of renewable assets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on emerging technologies and performance improvements in renewable energy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to enhance business opportunities and compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Sustainable Energy or similar discipline from a reputable university with a preference for the candidates holding an MBA.10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.Solid people management skills.Good understanding of power / energy and water sectors, emerging trends, technologies and key players.Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).Excellent relationship-building skills.Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management team and external partners / advisors through collaboration & teamwork.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environmentBenefits
