The Art Director position requires superior aesthetic and design knowledge. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to visualize, design and execute advertising communications in harmony with the Copywriter and in accordance with the brief and deadline. It also involves working efficiently with the Creative Studio and the Account Executives. Art director should ensure that client’s desired message and image is conveyed to target audience. Should have a strong understanding of digital production and social media dynamics. The ideal candidate should know how to take full responsibility for the overall visual style and design aspects of an advertising or media campaign, images in magazines, newspapers, product packaging and movie productions. He coordinates the work of other graphic designers who will develop artwork or layouts.
Qualifications and Experience :
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an advertising industry utilizing digital campaigns with a strong portfolio (with a focus on retail brands, digital activations, and promotional campaigns)
- BA or equivalent in a design / art-focused major
- Creative thinking and ability to generate original and innovative solutions.
