JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Design, implement, and maintain robust information system solutions that enhance organizational efficiency, security, and operational effectiveness. The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for evaluating and deploying IS solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational IS policies, and supporting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of enterprise data. This includes developing and integrating new functionalities into existing systems, overseeing system configuration, installation, and performance optimization, and ensuring alignment with business goals through expert-level systems analysis and technical leadership. The role involves collaboration with internal subject matter experts or external vendors to implement solutions. It also includes assisting in the development of procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable national regulatory requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
General Duties
Proven work experience as a senior systems analyst.
Experience with various Microsoft Windows operating systems, VMware, or any Hypervisor infrastructure.
Hands-on experience analyzing vulnerabilities and their impact on applicable systems.
Experience deploying security patches on Microsoft Windows and non-Windows platforms.
Proficient in using tools like Microsoft SCCM and ManageEngine Desktop Central for patch management and deployment.
Strong technical knowledge of relevant applications and Windows operating systems.
Understanding of the latest IS solutions, techniques, and protocols.
Familiarity with web-related technologies (web applications, web services, service-oriented architectures) and related protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Assist and support internal and external audit activities.
Support the delivery of IS services, including deployment, data collection, assessment, and metrics reporting.
Work independently under the general direction of the Head of IT Operations to ensure timely and accurate deployment, operation, and maintenance of IS systems.

Recommend procedure changes and improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist and support in external audit and certification requirements.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Head of IT Operations or IS Manager.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational policies, daily instructions, SOPs, JSAs, MOC processes, and the Quality Management System.
Participate in safety initiatives to ensure regulatory, health, safety, security, environmental, and quality compliance.
Exercise Stop Work Authority and take immediate corrective actions in unsafe situations.

Maintain knowledge of applicable cybersecurity standards.
Contribute to the planning, design, development, and implementation of technical controls and procedures aligned with compliance and cybersecurity requirements.
Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
Implement section-related processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure consistency and control in operations.
Reporting
Effectively communicate and explain technical information to stakeholders.
Prepare timely reports to meet department requirements and standards.
Keep supervisors informed of any issues requiring further attention.
Report incidents and near misses, and participate in investigations as necessary.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
Preferred : Master’s Degree in Information or Cyber Security
Experience
Required : 5–7 years of experience in a similar role
Preferred : Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
