Are you an experienced NDT Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity in a leading shipyard, offshore, and industrial environment? Join our team in Qatar and take charge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations to ensure the highest quality and safety standards in projects!

Our client, a reputable shipyard company is looking for an experienced NDT Supervisor to join their team for a t wo-year contract in Qatar.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Certified in NDT Level II or III (ASNT, PCN, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in NDT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong expertise in welding inspections, ship repair, offshore, and oil & gas projects.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, defect analysis, and reporting procedures.
  • Ability to lead teams, work under pressure, and meet project deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate NDT inspections across shipyard and industrial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, ASNT, AWS, API, and IACS inspection standards.
  • Oversee UT, RT, PT, MT, and VT testing methods to detect structural defects.
  • Interpret inspection results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor and maintain calibration and certification of NDT equipment.
  • Train and mentor NDT technicians to maintain high technical standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and safety teams to improve inspection processes.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE and company safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
