Overview Data Analytics and Power BI Developer — Location : Qatar — Job Type : Full-time, Contract

Job Purpose The Data Analytics and Power BI Developer will lead analytics applications and tools to implement dashboards, reports, and applications for major projects. The role involves managing data warehouses, reporting systems, and predictive modelling software, transforming raw data into meaningful visualizations that drive actionable insights. The position is responsible for ensuring data and system functioning according to specifications, developing effective data management approaches, maintaining data integrity, and providing technical leadership on data and system technologies. The role also covers development of ETL tools for data integration and extraction (Extract, Transform, Load).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics

Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Power BI Developer, Dashboard Designer, or similar role, preferably in the oil and gas construction industry

Minimum 5 years’ experience in SQL for data manipulation and extraction

Experience with Oracle Primavera P6

Technical and Business Skills

Strong knowledge of data analytics, dashboard, and report development

Experience in Power BI, MS SQL, SharePoint, Excel, and Power Platform including Power Apps

Data modelling and visualization concepts, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query

ETL tools experience (e.g., SSIS or similar)

ASP.NET, SharePoint, HTML, CSS

Experience with report automation using SSRS, Power BI Report Builder, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BusinessObjects Lumira, SAP Data Services, WEBI (BusinessObjects Web Intelligence) preferred

Strong IT, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and spoken English, communication, collaboration, and supervisory skills
