We are a growing and dynamic organization seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our accounting department. This is a key leadership role that will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial and accounting operations while supporting strategic business decisions. Location : Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management in decision-making.
