SR. LAB TECHNICIAN

Overview

• Supervises subordinates for collection of QA / QC samples and carry out physical & chemical tests on chemicals and hydrocarbons for Export certifications. Carry out a variety of day-to-day duties including the preparation of detailed analytical reports. Responsible for highly sophisticated instruments calibration and minor routine maintenance of lab equipment's including GCs, Sulphur analyser, Ion Chromatograph, etc.
• Responsible for Mesaieed operations Laboratory ISO 17025 calibration and PT analysis as and when required.

Experience

Minimum of 6 years laboratory analysis experience in hydrocarbon testing laboratory with 5-year experience in QA / QC activities including ISO 17025 activities.

Attended ISO 17025 courses and having valid certificates from reputed accreditation agencies.

Qualifications

Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years full time formal training in chemistry. B.Sc. degree has an advantage to laboratory function. Minimum 5 Years QA / QC experience in ISO 17025 Testing protocols and documentations.

Good knowledge of ASTM-IP, SMS and UOP test methods. Good communication and writing skills in English
