This role is focused on providing expert audio engineering services for conferences and workshops, ensuring seamless sound system and simultaneous interpretation system setup, operation, and troubleshooting. The position requires on-site presence in Doha, Qatar, and involves managing all aspects of live sound delivery to guarantee clear, high-quality audio throughout each event. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, reliability, and a commitment to supporting professional events with exceptional audio solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and operate professional sound systems and simultaneous interpretation equipment for conferences and workshops
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal audio performance
  • Manage live sound operations during events, including real‑time adjustments and technical support
  • Collaborate with event organizers and interpretation teams to meet specific audio requirements
  • Maintain and monitor equipment throughout the event to prevent and resolve technical issues
  • Provide on-site technical support for the full duration of each project in Doha, Qatar

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sound technician or audio engineer for live events, conferences, or workshops
  • Expertise in professional sound system installation, configuration, and operation
  • Familiarity with simultaneous interpretation systems and their integration with event audio setups
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills under time‑sensitive conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced event environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with event staff and interpreters
  • Availability for on‑site work in Doha, Qatar, for the full project duration
  • Commitment to high standards of audio quality and client service
