Planning Engineer Mechanical

Minimum Experience Develop update and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 focusing on mechanical works such as piping pumps valves tanks and equipment installation Coordinate with mechanical engineering teams procurement construction and commissioning to align all planning activities Track project progress and generate weekly monthly reports including Scurves resource histograms and lookahead schedules Analyze schedule variances and delays identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies Participate in technical and planning meetings to provide schedulerelated inputs especially concerning mechanical milestones Prepare and support delay analysis recovery plans and extension of time EOT claims if required Ensure all planning documents comply with project specifications and contractual requirements Desired Skills Experience Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling with at least 2 years on water or wastewater treatment plant projects Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 Mandatory Good understanding of mechanical systems involved in water treatment processes pumps piping valves filtration etc Experience with EPC Engineering Procurement and Construction project environments Strong communication analytical and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word PowerPoint
