Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated (Ministry of Public Health) licensed nurse to provide medical care and health support for workers residing in a camp / labour accommodation in Qatar. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring proper healthcare services, promoting wellness, and handling emergency medical situations in compliance with MOPH standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary healthcare services, first aid, and emergency response to workers in the accommodation.
- Maintain accurate medical records, health reports, and daily logs in line with MOPH requirements.
- Monitor workers’ health conditions, administer prescribed medications, and manage chronic illnesses.
- Support health awareness programs, hygiene promotion, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
- Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and external healthcare providers when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar MOPH regulations and camp health & safety standards.
- Conduct regular health inspections in living areas and report potential risks.
- Provide continuous medical coverage within the assigned duty hours.
Qualifications
Valid MOPH nursing license in Qatar (or eligibility for licensing).Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a camp, labour accommodation, or occupational health setting.Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency care, and public health practices.Good communication skills (English essential; Arabic / Hindi / Urdu considered an advantage).Ability to work independently under demanding schedules.Working Conditions
