Project : Replacement of HV & LV Switchgears
Location : Qatar
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced E&I Engineer to support the Third Party Inspection & Approval (TPIA) activities for the Replacement of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) Switchgears project. The role involves performing inspections, reviews, and approvals of HV & LV switchgears to ensure full compliance with QatarEnergy (QE) standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, testing, and approval of HV & LV switchgear installations as per QE standards.
- Review technical documents, drawings, and compliance reports related to switchgear replacement.
- Verify adherence to project specifications, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare inspection reports and ensure timely submission to stakeholders.
- Support QE approval processes by providing technical justification and documentation.
- Provide expertise during factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT), as required.
- Be available on-call basis when required for urgent inspections or approvals.
