Compass International School Doha is part of Nord Anglia Education. The school was established in 2006 to provide a premium British education to expatriate and local Qatari families. We operate three campuses : Al Themaid and Madinat Khalifa (Early Years through Secondary) and Gharaffa (stand-alone Primary for children aged 3-11). All campuses offer a bespoke British curriculum. Secondary students can select from a wide range of IGCSEs, AS and A levels, and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13. About The Role

Join our dynamic international education environment, where you will deliver a fit-for-purpose curriculum built on the UK National Curriculum and prepare students for external examinations at IGCSE / AS-A levels. You will challenge students to be ambitious learners and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes. You will understand the diverse international language environment within our school community to create effective curriculum programmes and schemes of work necessary to teach Music.

At Compass International School Doha we teach the Juilliard Creative Classroom program up to KS3. Training in this will be provided by specialists from Juilliard, who send music, drama, and dance experts to our school every year. The dedicated department leads on high-quality productions outside the classroom with many performances and extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

Your educational philosophy will equip you to meet the needs of all learners and map pathways for all students to progress in your subject, creating opportunities for all learners to achieve success based on individualised targets. You will contribute to good practice by demonstrating a collegiate approach to departmental development and sharing strategies with colleagues.

You Will Have The Following

• university degree in your specialist subject
• teaching qualification
• considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum

You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Qatar, including possession of a Bachelor’s degree and a teaching qualification from a face-to-face (non-online) course.
