Digital Production Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Allocate manpower assignment and relevant instructions

Ensure that work instructions are properly executed and that workers follow the correct production methods

Supervise the storage of produced materials at the factory

Ensure and supervise the safe operation of printing press machinery and equipment & schedule regular maintenance

Oversee and coach employees

Check production output according to specifications

Submit reports on performance and progress to management

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements in report form to the management

Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Recognize possible print issues and plan layouts accordingly in discussion with head of production

Apply strict guidelines for Quality Assurance to ensure the best possible product for clientele

Examining finished samples and approving quality before delivery to client

Monitor the quality of the product and ensure deadlines are met

Organize, Control and Monitor Production Area

Identifying and selecting appropriate options for binding, inks, paper, varnishes, and special printing processes

Ensure that a quality standards plan is created and enforced.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Three-year college or university in any subject

Minimum of 5 year experience of which 3 in printing press field

Basic Safety Training, Related Production training, Effective Planning training, etc

Possesses strong negotiation skills

Has excellent verbal communications skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Detail-oriented, possessing excellent ability to work independently as needed

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong command of English and working knowledge of the Arabic language
