Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate South Indian Cook to prepare authentic and flavorful South Indian dishes. The ideal candidate should have expertise in traditional cooking methods, an eye for presentation and the ability to manage a busy kitchen environment. This role demands efficiency, hygiene and consistency in taste and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of authentic South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, rice varieties and curries.
• Maintain taste, texture and consistency across all preparations.
• Monitor inventory and inform management of required ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure proper food handling hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards as per FSSAI or HACCP norms.
• Maintain accurate records of food production wastage and kitchen cleaning schedules.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and ensure timely food preparation during peak hours.
• Prepare meals in accordance with customer preferences and dietary restrictions when applicable.
• Plan and assist in buffet or à la carte menus, festivals or special food promotions.
