Job Description

Senior Electrical Engineer

Qatar, Doha

Parsons is seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer who will manage complex engineering assignments across multiple construction projects, apply advanced techniques, use CAD / CAE tools, and oversee technical deliverables. The role also includes project coordination responsibilities such as managing RFIs for up to 13 construction projects, ensuring timely responses, and facilitating communication between internal teams, clients, and suppliers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform complex engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Extract engineering information from CAD drawings to prepare computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Complete drawings, specifications, and other procurement and construction materials.
• Interface regularly with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials, review supplier drawing submissions, and perform technical bid analyses.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD designers / drafters, designers, and lower‑level engineers on the same project.
• Coordinate and manage RFIs across 13 different construction projects, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
• Track and monitor project deliverables, timelines, and milestones for adherence to schedules.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, external clients, and suppliers to resolve project issues and ensure alignment on objectives.
• Provide professional engineer seal and signature when required, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
• Act in an advisory capacity to senior management on engineering and project coordination matters.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate.
