Junior HSEQ Engineer (For Qatari Nationals only)

Position holder will be located in Doha, at the TotalEnergies EP Qatar subsidiary’s office (Msheireb Downtown). Work requires good communication and coordination skills, accuracy, completeness of data, adherence to established standards and guidelines, and self-motivation. He / she must maintain good communication with other entities including Engineering, Construction & Project, Field Operations, Logistics, Drilling & Wells entities. He / she may visit offshore installations and Halul Island. Responsibilities : Within the HSEQ & Security department, and under the supervision of the Integrity & Major Risk Manager and VP HSEQ & Security, the Junior HSEQ Engineer will provide support to the following tasks : Process Safety / Safety Engineering : Provide safety engineering support for ongoing projects, modifications, and studies, in interaction with other discipline leads in Engineering, Construction, and Project entities, as well as Field Operations, to ensure optimal design and technical solutions. Support updates of Technological Risk Assessment studies and liaise with contractors responsible for such studies. Propose and implement Major Risk and Process Safety communication supports and awareness initiatives. Assist in creating Bow-ties for Major Risk scenarios, highlighting safety-critical barriers. Read and understand P&IDs, Safety Engineering layouts (Escape & Safety equipment, Fire & Gas, Hazardous areas, etc.) and utilize PRODOM database for documentation retrieval and review comments. Support derogation preparations and documentation consolidation related to safety engineering. Stay informed about technical standards and referential related to Safety Engineering. Engage in GHG emissions accounting, reporting, and verification, covering both operated and non-operated assets. Coordinate with Field Operations and other relevant entities to ensure accurate GHG reporting and hypothesis validation. Ensure all GHG reporting tools / displays are kept current. HSE : Promote HSE performance through dashboards, GHG displays, etc. Support various HSE campaigns (e.g., World Day for Safety, Environmental Day, Contractor HSE Forum). Participate in HSE activities and initiatives such as referential updates, audits, REX, MAESTRO, trainings, and action plans. Use Synergi to monitor HSE actions and generate monthly reports. Education :

BSc. in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering. Professional experience :

Fresh Qatari graduate. Technical competencies :

Process Safety / Safety Engineering / Industrial Risk Management / Scenario-based and Quantitative Risk Assessment / HSE management systems. Behavioral competencies :

Quick learner, good communication and coordination skills, self-motivated with minimal supervision, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a multicultural environment. Other competencies :
