• OverviewA skilled Mechanical Engineer is required to manage and maintain mechanical systems within a Facilities Management (FM) setting. The role involves overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting FM projects, and driving operational efficiency. Your roleMaintenance & Operations
• Oversee and manage mechanical systems within facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure proper execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.Project Management
• Support FM projects by providing technical expertise in mechanical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and compliance with Qatar regulations.Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to Qatar Civil Defense and international standards for mechanical systems.
• Implement health and safety protocols during maintenance and project execution.Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset performance, and compliance reports.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.About you
• BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred : Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in the same position within Facilities Management.
• Overall 10+ years of experience in civil engineering roles, preferably in FM.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire safety systems.Skills
• Proficiency in CAFM systems, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with SFG20 standards, ISO FM standards, and Qatar regulatory requirements.
• Experience in energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives.
