3. JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

The occupational health nurse delivers health services to company employees in the form of medical examinations and health management. This position is focused on health promotion, illness and injury prevention, and the protection of individuals from occupational and environmental hazards in the workplace.

4.1 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Emergency Response

• Awareness of the company Emergency Action and Accountability Procedure and their role as a nurse.
• Remain alert to attend to any case of employee health emergency within Q-Chem premises in order to ensure that emergencies are addressed promptly and adequately.

5. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

Required (Qualification 1 / Discipline) : Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Preferred (Qualification 1 / Discipline) : Post Graduate certificate in Occupational and / or Environmental Nursing.

Licensure

Required : Current Nursing License from Home Country

Preferred : Current Nursing License from Qatar

Experience

Required : Total of 3 to 5 years of experience in a hospital / clinic or similar medical facility field.

Preferred : Experience in Oil and Gas Industry as plant / industrial nurse or medic.

Languages

Required : English - Proficient.

Preferred : Arabic - Working knowledge.
