Position Overview
College of Business seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in Banking and Financial Technology. The successful candidate will design, deliver and evaluate courses within the Banking and Financial Technology domain, assess student progress, manage learning resources, engage industry partners, participate in advisory committees, and contribute to professional and community life within the College.

Responsibilities
Develop, deliver and evaluate courses within the Banking and Financial Technology domain.Assess student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment.Liaise with industry and academic partners, participate in advisory committees and coordinate projects within the program area.Maintain course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development / improvement plans.Contribute to professional and community life within the College and beyond.Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements
PhD and master’s degrees in Banking and Financial Technology or a related discipline from an internationally recognized university; undergraduate degree from an accredited university.Assistant Professor Experience
Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a post‑secondary, adult training or industry training environment; preferably 3 years employment experience in banking or a related field.Demonstrate knowledge in utilizing a Trading Room to enhance student learning through hands‑on financial decision making.Distinguished research record and international reputation evidenced by high‑quality publications in top‑tier journals.Excellent record of supervising high‑caliber research students.Leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry.Associate Professor Experience
Minimum 8 years teaching experience in a post‑secondary, adult training or industry training environment; preferably 3 years employment experience in banking or a related field.Demonstrate knowledge in utilizing a Trading Room to enhance student learning through hands‑on financial decision making.Distinguished research record and international reputation evidenced by high‑quality publications in top‑tier journals.Excellent record of supervising high‑caliber research students.Leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry.Preferred Qualifications (Assistant and Associate)
Professional Certification : CFA and / or FRM.Diploma in Education (e.g. Post‑secondary Education, Adult Education or Vocational Education) is preferred.Experience in leadership and innovation in technology‑based projects.Proficient in Power BI : Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Power BI to extract, transform and visualize data from various sources; ability to create interactive dashboards, reports and data models to provide actionable insights.Teaching experience in post‑secondary, adult training or industry training environment (for Assistant); 10+ years employment experience in the relevant discipline (for Associate).Other Required Skills
