Job Overview

Durham School for Girls Doha is seeking a passionate and inspirational female Secondary English Teacher for an immediate start. The successful candidate must be able to teach English up to A Level and will join a supportive department in one of Qatar’s leading British schools.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who can :

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in English up to A Level .

Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.

Support and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Collaborate with colleagues in lesson planning, assessment, and innovation.

Embrace our ethos as a High Performance Learning (HPL) community .

Candidate Requirements

British teaching qualification (B.Ed. or BA / BSc + PGCE / QTS in English).

Ability to teach English to A Level (essential).

Experience in a UK or international school setting.

Passion for teaching and commitment to pastoral care.

Must be fully vaccinated (as required by Qatari law).
