Overview

Merchandising Assistant (Malayalee preferred) We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser in planning, developing, and implementing strategies to drive sales and optimize inventory levels. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working closely with suppliers and various departments within the company. Responsibilities

Assist the Merchandiser in conducting market research to identify trends and customer demands Work closely with suppliers to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery dates Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan promotions and displays Track sales performance and prepare reports for management Assist in creating purchase orders and managing product deliveries Communicate with various departments to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans Maintain accurate records of all merchandise transactions Requirements

Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in Malayalam is preferred Proven experience as a Merchandising Assistant or similar role Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with retail math and inventory management systems Willingness to work part-time with flexible hours Accommodation provided by the company will be an added advantage
