Speech therapist vacancy in Lusail Qatar

Speech Therapist - Lusail, Qatar

Our clinic in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. This is a full-time position that does not include accommodation.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the individual's speech and language abilities
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Implement therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Educate individuals and their families on exercises and techniques for improving communication skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Qatar (or eligible for licensure)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and creating personalized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with the ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
  • A strong understanding of communication disorders and their impact on daily life

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially those of African descent.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience working in an English-speaking country
