Quality Lead - Manufacturing

الوصف الوظيفيDevelop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with established standards. Conduct inspections and tests at various manufacturing stages to identify defects or deviations. Investigate quality issues and perform root cause analysis using tools like Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, etc. Implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality using best practices and lean principles. Lead or participate in Quality Management System audits to ensure full compliance with company requirements and international standards. Evaluate and manage the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers. Support validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure consistent product quality. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality within the Oil & Gas or related industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role. Experience with large-scale projects and coordination with contractors, vendors, or service providers. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, industry regulations, and performance improvement methodologies. Familiarity with quality control tools, root cause failure analysis, and testing / inspection methods (destructive and non-destructive). Ability to create and clearly document quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and related documentation.
Position Title : Quality Lead - Manufacturing
Work Schedule : 10 hrs / day, 6 days / week, ~26 days / month
Work Location : Onshore, Qatar
Contract Term : 36 months (possibility to extend)
Estimated Start Date : October 2025 or ASAP
Job Purpose
The Quality Lead (Manufacturing) is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance across major projects, ensuring the quality of products and processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This includes developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Key Challenges
- Providing timely quality oversight under project schedules while maintaining high standards.
- Establishing, managing, and enforcing the Quality Management System across projects.
- Evaluating root cause failure reports and developing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring contractors, vendors, and suppliers meet all quality requirements for on-time, within-budget project delivery.
