Job Description

Job Objective

To manage & administer a range of haircare services as part of a routine session including shampooing, cutting, coloring, styling, and blow-drying hair. Assist guests and guide team members as needed in order to keep the Beauty Center flowing smoothly, accurately & efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet clients as they step into the salon; take their inquiries and make them feel comfortable while they wait to be attended to and ensure excellent customer experience.

• Create elegant and customized hairstyles for weddings, engagements, photoshoots, and other formal events.
• To offer clients some refreshments as they wait for their turn to be attended to and offer them magazines to read.
• Comprehend each client’s individual demands regarding hair and skins problems and attempt to devise solutions for them
• Analyzing clients’ hair, facial features, and needs, and determining/recommending appropriate haircuts & treatments
• Creating hair styles for formal events
• Applying chemical settings, straightening, or curling solutions, perform permanent wave and chemical relaxation services.
• Color hair and remove chemicals and artificial color from hair.
• Provide appropriate post-cutting guidelines
• Record & maintain files for every guest and assure up keeping of their records.
• Maintaining workstations and sanitizing tools and equipment
• Keep up to date with current promotions and pricing for Beauty Centre & other Club facilities, to provide information to guests upon request, while maximizing every sales opportunity
• To be knowledgeable about various hair & beauty care products and give clients useful advice about the products if they seek your opinion.
• Should possess knowledge of the chemical composition and properties of the substances used for various treatments and the chemical processes the substances may undergo
• Should thank each guest upon departure, extend a return invitation and offer a pleasant parting comment, in a friendly and courteous manner
• Maintains a consistent relationship with client base to ensure return clients
• Exhibit personal grooming, appearance and attitude in a manner, which will enhance the guests experience and satisfaction
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure completion of all tasks in a timely manner.
• Learning and updating new hair styles and techniques
• To train newly hired hairdressers in a proactive manner
• To be aware of all safety and fire drill procedures and attend training conducted by the Training and the Engineering Departments
• Perform all work-related requests made by the Beauty Center Manager, which may or might not be directly in the scope of work.
