Are you a skilled CNC Machine Operator looking for an exciting opportunity in a leading shipyard and engineering environment? Join our team in Qatar and work on high-precision machining projects for the marine, offshore, and industrial sectors !

Our client, a reputable shipyard company, is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join their team for a two-year contract in Qatar .

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Certificate in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field .
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC machines in shipyard, offshore, or industrial settings .
  • Strong knowledge of machine tools, cutting speeds, feeds, and programming (G-code & M-code preferred) .
  • Experience with manual and automated machining processes .
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operate and set up CNC machines (lathe, milling, or other machining tools).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs .
  • Perform precision cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal components.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet exact specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings and tools to optimise performance.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
  • Follow ISO, HSE, and company safety protocols to maintain a secure workspace.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations.
