Direct Reports Supervisors
Job Summary and Purpose Assist / support the Pilot / Dock Masters to plan, organize and supervise the Docking and un Docking activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Accountabilities
Ensure implementation of approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence. Lead and control work force engaged in marine maneuverer to ensure the work is completed within the allocated man-hour / resources.
Co‑ordinate work progress with project managers, superintendent, other trades and with his own department.
Liaise with Invoicers / Estimators to ensure that commercial targets are met.
Plan and execute block setting activities as per the drawing / schedule and organize related logistics for the safe docking operations.
Prepare departmental reports on time and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
Appraise the personnel on a periodic basis, identify the training needs for the sub‑ordinates and advise the Department Manager.
Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed to contribute to the continuous operations of the department.

Financial Authorities As per TOFA.
Qualifications, Experience and Job Skills Qualifications :
Diploma / degree in mechanical engineering / naval architect or equivalent.
Experience :
Experience in ship repairing and ship construction yard and strong experience in marine operations with at least 3 years as supervisor or in a similar position.

II. Technical Competencies
Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building yard.
LEEA certification is preferable.
Expertise in block settings for marine and offshore projects (rigs, platforms, liftboats, etc).
Possess knowledge of MS Office and project management skills.
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline‑related project and engineering documentation.
