Purpose Of The Position As

Offshore Methods Lead , you will report to the Offshore Installation / Engineering Manager and be part of the Subsea Engineering – INSTAM / T&I team, supporting various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a complete engineering installation package, including :

Installation procedures

Rigging drawings

Checklist dossiers

Trial lift and load‑out procedures

Coordinate all interfaces with the installation analysis team (Naval Engineering ‑ Structural Engineering ‑ Pipelay Analysis), providing necessary inputs and conducting thorough reviews of analysis and design reports.

Oversee the operations phase, including procurement of temporary materials, vessel mobilization and coordination with subcontractors and their contracts.

Support onshore and offshore operations by providing technical assistance to the vessel management team and ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing and installation phases.

Lead and manage a team composed of junior engineers (method / operations), draftsmen and ensure timely preparation of all installation documents.

Education

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred). Other engineering disciplines may also be considered.

Experience

Minimum 10–12 years in Installation Engineering, including offshore operations follow‑up and project experience on offshore and yard bases.

Languages

Proficient in English.

Technical Skills / Knowledge

Strong experience in offshore transportation and installation (T&I).

Good knowledge of major offshore T&I codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API).

IT Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
