Overview

We are looking for a Satellite Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details :

Details

Location : Qatar - Offshore

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : AUG 2026

Work Scheme : Rotational 28 days On and 28 days Off

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification and Experience Required :

  • Education : Bachelor of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent.
  • Hydrocarbon and process safety experience is a must, instrument and electrical background to a certain level is required.
  • Industry Experience : Minimum 5 years\' experience in O&G production operations, as supervisor

Certifications

  • T-BOSIET / H2S
  • Fitness to Work Certificate
  • Basic and Advanced Firefighting
  • Management of Major Emergencies
  • Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader
  • Advanced First Aid

    • Company specific certification (as a minimum)

  • Incident free supervisor certification
  • Health & Industrial Hygiene
  • Industry Golden rules
  • Basic Cause Tree Analysis
  • Oil Spill Principles and Management Level 1
  • Electrical Habilitation Level 2
  • Gas and NORM test training

    • Required Competencies

    Technical knowledge :

  • Proficient in process, water treatment, gas treatment, gas lift, production equipment\' functionality and well,
  • Understand operational safety and ability to identify potential hazard (SimOps, pressure, lifting, etc),
  • Thorough understanding and use of P&ID and C&E drawings, and isolation principles,
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and control equipment principles, including fault diagnosis,
  • Knowledgeable in industry process safety guidelines and procedures,
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory),

    • Responsibilities

    Responsibilities :

  • the production performance of the assigned area,
  • the safety of all (permanent and non-permanent) occupants of the assigned area,
  • being an Authority within the assigned area, see details below
  • being the On-Scene Commander in the event of an Emergency Response.
  • actively participate as a permanent member of the platform in respect of the team.
